You're losing leads while you teach.

Inquia answers every tutoring inquiry and books the session. It replies only from the prices and answers you approve, offers times from your tutors' real availability, and sends you anything it can't answer.

The problem

The leak you never see.

A missed inquiry never complains. It just enrolls somewhere else. Lead-response research shows how quickly that happens.

Speed decides who gets the conversation

Parents looking for a tutor often contact more than one program in the same sitting. The MIT/InsideSales lead-response study found a lead contacted within five minutes was 21 times more likely to qualify than one contacted at thirty. A follow-up study in Harvard Business Review found that firms replying within an hour were nearly seven times more likely to qualify the lead than firms replying an hour later.

21×More likely to qualify at 5 minutes than at 30

Most inquiries wait, and many are never answered

Harvard Business Review sent a web inquiry to 2,241 US companies. The average reply took 42 hours, and 23% never replied at all. A tutor who teaches back-to-back sessions is usually teaching when inquiries arrive.

Each miss is a student, not a message

One student at one hour a week for a 36-week school year, at $30 to $140 an hour, is $1,000 to $5,000 in tuition. One missed inquiry can be a year of tuition.

What it does

A front desk, not a form autoresponder.

An autoresponder sends a template and a booking link, then goes quiet. Inquia answers what the parent asked: the price, whether a tutor works with test anxiety, which times are open. It keeps answering until the session is booked or the question needs you.

Intake

A specific first reply

Every inquiry from your hosted inquiry page gets a reply in about a minute. The reply answers the subject, grade and question the parent asked, using only your approved answers.

“Hi, my daughter is a junior, looking for SAT help. Do you have availability after school?”

Booking

Parents book the session

When the parent is ready, Inquia sends a booking link. Parents pick a time from your real availability and get an email confirmation. They can change or cancel from the same link.

Checked, then saved

A fixed set of rules, not another AI, checks each reply. A price, discount, link or promise you did not approve holds the reply and sends the conversation to you. Every conversation is saved for you to read.

Autoresponders stop at message three.

A template with a booking link covers the first message. It does not answer the question about price or which times are open, and those are the messages where a family decides.

Have that conversation yourself Same assistant, same checks. Try asking about price.

Assumptions (change them)

Every input is an assumption you control. No published tutoring-specific figure exists for the first-responder share, so set the one you believe. The reply-time factor scales how often a rival beats you to it.

FAQ

Questions

Including what happens when the AI is wrong and how to leave.

Inquia is free for solo tutors and for school and nonprofit tutoring programs. Tutoring centers pay $149/month. Every plan gets the same product: the AI front desk, saved conversations, self-booking pages, the inbox and the lead pipeline. No credit card to start, and centers upgrade only when they choose to.

About five minutes. Setup is one short form: subjects, price, where sessions happen and your weekly times. When you submit it, your inquiry link is live and the AI answers from what you entered. You can add FAQs and adjust the voice later.

Each program's data is kept separate by database access rules. We do not sell student data. See /security and /privacy.

Export your leads and their messages as a CSV from the Leads page, in one click. There are no contracts or cancellation fees, and billing stops when you cancel.

No. Setup is one short form. The hosted inquiry page works as soon as you finish it: put the link on your website, your Google profile or your social bio. After that, check your inbox for anything the AI handed to you.

It takes the repetitive part: repeat questions and scheduling. If you have no front desk, Inquia is one. If you do, that time goes back to enrollment conversations and teaching.

Every AI reply is saved for you to read, and you can step in at any point. The AI answers only from your FAQs and settings. If a reply mentions a price or link you did not set, it comes to you instead of being sent. The checks are tested in public on the guardrail scorecard.

No. Inquia sits in front of whatever you already use, such as TutorBird, Teachworks, TutorCruncher, or a Google Calendar and a spreadsheet. Nothing needs to be connected. Today parents reach you through the inquiry page and get replies by email.

Who built this

Why this exists.

Parents often go with whoever answers first, and a tutor who teaches all afternoon is usually teaching when the inquiry arrives. Gmail, a calendar and a spreadsheet can't reply for you.

So I built the front desk I would want if I ran a program: it answers in about a minute, stays in the conversation until a session is booked, and shows you every message. Inquia is in early beta. If you try it, you'll be talking to me directly, and what you tell me decides what gets built next.
